Backpacker for 88 days
Immediate start for a term of 2-3 months or longer for the right person, sponsorship also possible for right person who fits in with the team.
Award rates of pay, around 40 plus hours per week on average.
Bases rate for casual under pastoral award $29.33, $41.06 for overtime hours and, $52.79 for public holidays, with higher rates based on dairy experience.
The position could involve milking cows, feeding calves, tractor work and/or general farm work, but depends on your experience, where we can best use your skills.
Experience not necessary, but would be highly advantageous
Flexible 10-day fortnight with every second weekend off
Accommodation available for the right person or there is a room available in share house $100 a week, if house kept clean
Dairy operator opportunity for someone with 5 years’ experience at $75,000 -80,000 salary is available. This position may suit a couple, must have 5 or more years of milking experience.
This is a permanent long-term dairy farm position and would suit someone looking for stability and the opportunity to develop their skills in the dairy industry. To be eligible, applicants must hold a current driver’s license.
Approximately 50 hours a week is required
Flexible 10-day fortnight with every second weekend off

Herd Manager
A key herd management role within a 5th generation family-owned dairy farm business, Farm Profits has become available. The dairy farm has been operating since 1878 and is currently seeking an experienced Dairy Herd Manager that can maintain the award winning milk quality and farm performance that we are known for. The role will focus on the supervision of staff and the management of the herd to ensure productivity and animal health and welfare standards are consistently promoted. In addition to general farm maintenance, the Dairy Herd Manager will also be responsible for ensuring farm records are kept up to date and that farm tasks are undertaken in safe and appropriate manner.
Farm profits is currently looking to appoint a Dairy Herd Manager with at least 5 years proven experience to support the management of the operation. The role will focus on the supervision of staff and the management of the herd to ensure productivity and animal health and welfare standards are consistently promoted. In addition to general farm maintenance, the Dairy Herd Manager will also be responsible for ensuring farm records are kept up to date and that farm tasks are undertaken in safe and appropriate manner.
Applications are sought from candidates with a demonstrated background in dairy operations, at a supervisory level or higher. You should be experienced in daily dairy and farm management duties, with a history in successfully supervising and motivating employees. You will have a solid understanding of animal health, welfare, breeding and nutrition principles and activities, with a genuine desire to ensure that livestock receive the best care and attention at all times. You will have a proven track record in artificial insemination, with relevant qualifications to support your experience. Sponsorship visa would be considered for right applicant.
